For example - Have you ever been stood in a room (work/pub/party etc) and as someone walks in the conversation seems to stop dead. Everyone looks round, lets out a deep sigh in unison and says either out loud or under their breath something along the lines of; "Oh ****, Please do NOT let me get stuck talking to this boring **** today" The room temperature has dropped by about ten degrees and that loner who always seems to find themselves stuck in the corner at parties looking at the back of peoples heads and then wondering why the back of their own coat always appears to be covered in spit when they get home, has just moodhoovered the entire room without even trying. (The emotionally unintelligent hoover) Maybe you are an expert moodhoover yourself, someone who can silence the annoying chirpy "Morning Everyone" optimistic type person, with a quick and decisive lash of your tongue in a matter of seconds, sending them scurrying out with their heads bowed and a dark cloud above them.
